1. Cases Eligible for Refund Request
- Technical Error: A malfunction in the electronic payment gateway that resulted in duplicate charges to the bank account.
- Incorrect Amount: Entering the wrong donation amount (for example: typing 1000 OMR instead of 100 OMR).
- Unauthorized Donation: If the bank card was used by another person without the account holder's permission, provided that official proof is submitted.
2. Religious and Legal Guidelines and Restrictions
- Donation Disbursement: No donation can be refunded if it has already been disbursed, distributed to beneficiaries, or allocated to an ongoing project.
- Type of Donation: Endowment funds have strict religious specifications; therefore, refund requests must be submitted before the amount enters distribution accounts.
- Time Period: Refund requests must be submitted within a maximum of 14 business days from the date of the donation transaction.
3. Refund Request Procedures
To submit a refund request, please follow these steps:
- Contact the organization through official channels (info@charitable-endowment-for-alawamer-villages.org or +968 9938 8349).
- Provide the organization with the following information:
- Donor's full name
- A copy of the donation receipt or bank statement showing the transaction
- Reason for the refund request
- The request will be reviewed by the financial and administrative department, and the donor will receive a response within 3 to 5 business days.
4. Refund Method
- The amount will be refunded using the same payment method used (to the same card or bank account).
- Any administrative fees charged by the electronic payment gateway or bank (if applicable) may be deducted from the refunded amount.
